Thuraya handsets are able to make calls either via satellite or via the local GSM network (post-paid only). Thuraya airtime is available in either on a Pre-paid or Post-paid . Pre-paid A customer is required to purchase a SIM card. Thereafter, cards can be recharged with airtime as and when needed.
